Focus Gets You Going

When out there on the field, on the court, on the track, or in the water, you need concentration to redirect your energy and your mental state to the task at hand – winning the game!

However, sometimes, this is a difficult thing to do.

You’re stressed or anxious about the upcoming competition. You’re losing your concentration because of too many distractions.

Then, you need training to maintain focus…

Training to maintain focus doesn’t have any complicated program to follow. All you need to do is – breathe in deep! Fill your lungs with oxygen. Exhale. Let go of carbon dioxide. Breathe in, breathe out. Think of what you want to happen and that’s winning of course!

This has a calming effect which lets you readjust yourself and bring your focus to your goal.

You can now get out there and give it your best shot! You know you’ve prepared yourself in all aspects and you’re confident you can take on the challenge of the competition!

Focus and don’t let yourself be distracted. Focus gets you going!

In the end, it will all pay up, with you standing on the No. 1 spot and waving the trophy in the air…very nice thought, isn’t it?

Visualization: Key to your Peak Performance

Visualization? Sounds like a rather new word to be associated with peak performance…

What is visualization?

Visualization is the process of affecting the outside world by changing one’s thoughts.

This technique has been around for centuries and many spiritual practices have been using it in their journeys to enlightenment.

How can visualization be able to help you achieve your full potentials and attain your peak performance in the game?

Experiments in quantum physics show that the power of observation can significantly affect the results. They reveal that electrons behave differently on the monitor when the scientists are observing them and when the scientists are not.

In another study on athletes wherein they have different levels of mental training. Athletes with 75% of their training devoted to mental training and visualization did best and achieved peak performance.

The principle is, when you visualize –when you really focus – on something you want to happen in your life, it will happen!

Translate that into your sports – visualize yourself holding a champion’s trophy or a gold medal – then it will happen!

That’s the power of your thoughts! The power to achieve peak performance!

Visualization has become a science and if you still think that it’s just another one of those bogus schemes, well think again…

But this time you don’t need to think twice, click on this
