Farrell: In baseball & Dominican, 'only the strong survive' February 25, 2009 Sports activist Charles S. Farrell, the former director of Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow Sports, moved to the Dominican Republic last year to help open the Dominican Republic Sports and Education Academy, a college prep school that will emphasize baseball and scholarship. Farrell is currently raising money and scouting a location for the academy, which its organizers hope will open its doors in 2010. Farrell, in a re
